The 2015 World Social Forum is taking place in Tunis from March 24-28. The World Social Forum brings together tens of thousands of individuals and organizations from around the world. CUPW will be joining several other unions from Canada and Quebec in sending a  delegation to this massive gathering.

The World Social Forum will consist of thousands of workshops, hosted by hundreds of organizations from dozens of countries. Unparalleled in size and scope, it is the only meeting of its kind in the world.

While there are many issues and events of interest at the Forum, CUPW delegates will be expected to prioritize workshops relating to postal workers and the broader labour movement. The Forum serves as an important venue to connect with postal workers from outside of our traditional networks. There will be a CUPW workshop about the postal service, as well as a global postal meet and greet event.

Delegates should expect to spend extended periods walking, sitting or standing.

If you would like to participate in the CUPW delegation to the World Social Forum, please send your application to the National office before February 4, 2015
